Math Teachers (Part-Time)
Fall 2026–2027 School Year

Meadow Creek Academy is hiring for three part-time math teaching positions for the 2026–2027 school year. Candidates may apply for the role that best fits their experience.

Open Positions

Upper Elementary Math Teacher
Teach math for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students.

Middle School Math Teacher
Teach math for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.

High School Math Teacher
Teach Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 for older students.

We are looking for strong classroom teachers who can make math engaging, clear, and accessible while building meaningful relationships with students and families. Each teacher will be responsible for teaching three assigned grade levels or courses within their position.

About Meadow Creek Academy
Meadow Creek Academy is a homeschool-hybrid private school in Alvin, Texas, serving students in small classes through discussion, exploration, and hands-on learning.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required
Classroom teaching experience required
Strong knowledge of math content and instructional strategies
Ability to differentiate instruction and support a range of learners
Strong communication and classroom management skills
For the upper elementary role, experience teaching elementary math is preferred
For the middle school role, experience teaching middle school or junior high math is preferred
For the upper-level role, experience teaching Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 or comparable upper-level math courses is preferred

Position Details

School starts: September 8, 2026
Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday, 8:30–4:30
Calendar: 30-week student year
Class size: Up to 12 students
Pay: $25–$27/hour
Location: Alvin, Texas (near Friendswood)

Responsibilities

Plan and teach engaging math lessons for assigned grade levels or courses
Differentiate instruction to meet a range of learning needs
Monitor student progress and provide clear, consistent feedback
Foster a respectful, encouraging classroom environment
Communicate regularly with families and collaborate with colleagues
Participate in staff meetings, school events, and other school-related activities
