Ortho-Rejuv Wellness and Aesthetics is a medical spa in Portland, Oregon, offering aesthetic and wellness services including injectables, skin treatments, and supportive wellness therapies. We are seeking a part-time RN with prior med spa experience, specifically in neurotoxins and dermal fillers, as well as a minimum of one year of IV therapy experience. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional patient care, support provider-led treatment plans, and contribute to the growth of our aesthetics program. Experience with body contouring, RF laser, and microneedling is preferred but not required.
Position summary
The aesthetic RN Injector provides patient-centered aesthetic nursing care in a med spa setting. This includes patient intake and assessment, safe preparation and administration of injectable and related treatments per provider orders and clinic protocols, patient education, meticulous documentation, and support with day-to-day clinic operations. This role is part-time to start and may grow into additional scheduled days as demand increases.
Essential duties and responsibilities
· Perform client intake: verify identity, obtain/review health history, allergies, contraindications, and current medications; take vitals as indicated.
· Provide injection services and/or assist the provider with injectable treatments (e.g., neuromodulators and other injectables) per medical director/provider evaluation, orders, and clinic protocols.
· Prepare treatment rooms and supplies; maintain aseptic technique, safe medication handling, and sharps safety.
· Educate clients on expected outcomes, risks/benefits, and aftercare; provide written post-care instructions; respond to post-treatment questions per protocol.
· Document accurately and completely in the patient record (consents, lot numbers, units, injection sites, before/after photos as appropriate, adverse event monitoring).
· Support emergency preparedness: recognize and respond to adverse reactions; follow clinic emergency response procedures; participate in drills/training.
· Assist with inventory management for injectables and supplies (receiving, storage, temperature checks if applicable, counts, expiry monitoring).
· Support clinic flow: room turnover, patient experience, scheduling support when needed, and professional communication with the care team.
· Maintain compliance with HIPAA/privacy, infection control, and clinic policies/protocols.
Required qualifications
· Current, unrestricted Oregon RN license.
· Must have prior injection experience (aesthetic injectable solid 6-12 months experience at a minimum).
· Must be confidant and competent in nuerotox and filler injections.
· Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
· Comfortable educating clients, managing expectations, and delivering service-focused care in an aesthetic setting.
· Strong documentation skills and attention to detail (EHR experience preferred).
· Ability to work a part-time schedule that may include occasional Saturdays.
· Professional, reliable, and team-oriented with a growth mindset.
Preferred qualifications
· 1+ year experience administering neuromodulators and/or other cosmetic injectables in a med spa, plastics, dermatology, or aesthetics setting.
· Completion of reputable injectable training programs; ability to provide examples of work/portfolio (as applicable).
· Experience with IV therapy, PRP/PRF support, microneedling support, and/or laser/energy-based device workflows.
· Aesthetic nursing certification (e.g., CANS) or active pursuit of advanced training.
Physical requirements
· Ability to stand/walk for extended periods; move between rooms and perform repeated fine-motor tasks.
· Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform routine stocking/room setup.
· Ability to maintain visual focus for detailed procedures and documentation.

What we’re looking for

Compensation
Pay range is negotiable and depends on experience. Optional incentive/commission structures may be available.
