Full Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Deliver exceptional imaging care as an MRI Technologist, leveraging your expertise to provide high-quality diagnostic images for patient evaluation and care decisions. This contract opportunity offers the chance to showcase your skills in a dynamic medical environment equipped with advanced imaging technology.

Schedule:

Day shift: 07:30 – 16:00

Required Qualifications:

Current ARRT(MR) certification is essential
Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Demonstrated proficiency in MRI imaging protocols and procedures
Strong knowledge of safety standards and patient positioning for MRI scans
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients and clinical teams
Prior experience as an MRI Tech preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic quality images while ensuring patient safety and comfort
Screen patients for contraindications and obtain thorough medical histories relevant to MRI
Explain procedures to patients and address questions or concerns with clarity and empathy
Position patients accurately and safely for each exam in accordance with MRI protocols
Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure consistent image quality and accurate data for interpretation
Practice strict adherence to infection control and safety guidelines, including the management of MRI equipment and imaging suites
Document procedures, patient information, and exam details in accordance with facility protocols
