Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Accounting Assistant to join our team! This position offers an exciting opportunity to work your accounting skills while contributing to a collaborative and energetic workplace.

The company is one of the largest suppliers of topsoil, sand, mulch, stone, and other landscaping and building products in the region. Role Description The Accounting Assistant is a part-time, on-site role based in the Toledo, Ohio Metropolitan Area. This role is part time, 20-30 hours per week. This position will include A/P and A/R in QuickBooks.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Accounting Assistance skills and support day-to-day leadership needs.
Candidates should possess good communication skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.
Candidates should possess reliable QuickBooks and Microsoft Office experience.
Filing, data entry, and document management.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing)
Customer service mindset and ability to work effectively in a small business, team-oriented environment.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to work on-site part time in the Toledo, Ohio Metropolitan Area and reliably commute to the location.

Requirements

Proven experience in an office environment with strong accounting skills
Experience in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with QuickBooks
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
