Full Job Description

Orthodontic chairside experience and dental scanning proficiency are required for this position.

THE ROLE

As Clinical Coordinator this role has two equally important functions. In our orthodontic department you will work chairside alongside Dr. Greg Campi, as well as present treatment plans, follow up on unscheduled care, and guide patients through the financial and scheduling decisions that move their care forward.

You will own:

ORTHODONTICS

Provide chairside clinical assistance to Dr. Greg Campi during orthodontic procedures

Lead all orthodontic treatment coordination — managing consults, records, and continuity of care for all ortho patients

Serve as the primary point of contact for all orthodontic patient and family questions
Coordinate orthodontic pre-authorizations and insurance follow-up

GENERAL DENTISTRY

Present treatment plans clearly and guide patients from diagnosis to scheduled appointment
Support patient education around recommended treatment and urgency
Collaborate on financial arrangements and payment options for complex cases

WHO YOU ARE

You have worked in orthodontics. You know the language, the workflow, the chairside procedures, and the patient experience that comes with a treatment journey that spans months or years. You are warm, confident, and genuinely passionate about helping patients and families make the best decisions for their oral health. You do not shy away from financial conversations - you approach them with empathy and clarity. You are organized, self-motivated, and you follow up without being asked.

You also bring:

Orthodontic chairside assisting experience — required, minimum 2 years
Dental treatment coordination experience — required
Dental scanning proficiency — required
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) — preferred but not required
Proficiency in Dentrix and orthodontic practice management software
Strong understanding of dental and orthodontic insurance, pre-authorizations, and financial arrangements
Experience presenting and closing orthodontic treatment plans
Exceptional communication skills - with patients and families, with the clinical team, and with leadership
A natural ability to build trust and guide patients through complex, long-term treatment decisions

Hourly rate: $32–$38 per hour commensurate with experience and qualifications
Bi-monthly performance bonus rewarding the results you drive for our patients and our practice
