[REMOTE] Structural Designer - Bridge the Gap Between Design & Engineering
Location: Remote; Must reside within a two-hour drive of Pottsville, PA area
Salary: $90,000-$105,000
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k w/ safe harbor, PTO, Holidays
Job Type: Full-Time
Typical hours: M-F, 8 AM – 5 PM (some flexibility); Great Work/Life Balance!

Important note: This is primarily a remote position; candidates must reside within a two-hour drive of Eastern PA for monthly visits to their facility. Applicants from NJ and eastern PA are encouraged to apply.

[REMOTE] Structural Designer - Structural Drafting & Design Description

Our client, a manufacturer of custom structural building systems, is looking to expand their design team with a Structural Designer. In this role, you'll prepare structural designs, perform engineering calculations, and collaborate with drafting and engineering teams to bring custom structural support systems from concept through fabrication. You'll work closely with an outside licensed engineer who provides final review and sealed drawings, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on structural design and is ready to bridge the gap between structural drafting and engineering. [REMOTE] Structural Designer - Structural Drafting & Design Responsibilities

Prepare structural layouts and detailed drawings for custom structural support systems
Produce structural calculations and assist with engineering analysis for custom projects
Develop connection details for welded, bolted, and anchored structural assemblies
Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Create and revise fabrication and shop drawings using 3D CAD software
Coordinate with engineering and project teams to support project execution
Review fabrication drawings for accuracy and constructability
Prepare supporting engineering documentation for licensed review
Assist with delegated engineering documents and outside engineering submittals
Support product improvements, prototype development, and design standardization

[REMOTE] Structural Designer - Structural Drafting & Design Qualifications

5+ years of structural design experience, including structural steel applications
Experience in performing structural calculations including ASCE 7 load calculations
Structural connection design experience
Strong background with 3D CAD and structural analysis software required
