Monday to Friday

Hiring for an Import Senior Release Analyst position at our Buffalo, NY office. We are a growing company and as we grow we can offer our employees opportunity for advancement.

This position will be hybrid 9 am - 5 pm

Job Responsibilities

Process complex shipments of goods, imported to the U S, in a manner that ensures compliance with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Partner Government Agencies (PGA) regulations as required.

Transmit data electronically to CBP & PGA based on documents received from truck carriers. Interact with clients and carriers to ensure import release of the client’s goods.

Salary commensurate with experience

Job Description

Comfortable working with large, complex importers
Knowledge of Section 122 and 232 tariffs
File Customs release and PGA information
Comfortable working in a team-focused environment
Self-motivated individual with high level of enthusiasm
Creative thinker with competitive desire to meet and exceed customer expectations
Ability to interact effectively with internal and external contacts at all levels
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multi-task and make quick decisions in a fast-paced, ever changing work environment
Possess a working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Possess an analytical ability to gather and summarize data for reports and correspondence
Train new team members

Over 3 years in the US Brokerage industry preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office

Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
Effective communication skills
CCS designation preferred
