About Us

We are a highly respected skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility dedicated to delivering exceptional care, clinical excellence, and positive patient outcomes. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Director to expand referral partnerships, increase admissions, and strengthen our market presence throughout the community.

Position Summary

The Business Development Director is responsible for driving census growth through the development and maintenance of strategic relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, discharge planners, accountable care organizations, senior living communities, and other healthcare partners. This individual will serve as a key ambassador for the facility and play a vital role in achieving occupancy and revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to achieve census and revenue targets.
Build and maintain strong referral relationships with hospitals, physician groups, case managers, discharge planners, and community organizations.
Conduct regular sales calls, facility tours, and presentations to referral sources.
Identify market opportunities and competitive trends to support growth initiatives.
Collaborate with the Admissions and Clinical teams to ensure a smooth referral and admission process.
Track referral activity, admissions data, and business development metrics.
Represent the facility at networking events, healthcare conferences, and community outreach programs.
Maintain a thorough understanding of skilled nursing services, rehabilitation programs, payer sources, and healthcare regulations.
Develop marketing materials and campaigns that support facility growth objectives.
Provide regular reports to executive leadership regarding sales activities, referrals, and market conditions.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of healthcare business development, sales, admissions, or marketing experience.
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Post-Acute Care, Rehabilitation, Home Health, Hospice, or Long-Term Care experience strongly preferred.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding occupancy, admissions, or sales goals.
Strong knowledge of healthcare referral networks and post-acute care services.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel.

Preferred Experience

Existing relationships with local hospitals, physician groups, and healthcare providers.
Knowledge of Medicare, Managed Care, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid payer systems.
Experience using CRM and healthcare referral management platforms.
