Job Description

New Century Auto Group is looking for a Temporary Payroll Clerk for an assignment expected to last approximately 3 to 6 months. You will report directly to our Payroll Manager and provide important payroll and administrative support to our corporate team and dealerships. We are looking for someone with dealership payroll experience and hands-on experience using ADP Workforce Now, who is willing to work hard, take on challenging tasks, and provide outstanding back-office support to our dealerships so they can focus on serving our customers.

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience performing complex clerical and administrative payroll functions and be comfortable working in ADP Workforce Now. Dealership payroll experience is required, as is a strong understanding of payroll processes, deadlines, and reporting requirements. You will be responsible for communicating with multiple dealership business offices, completing payroll twice per month on behalf of 500+ employees, and producing valuable reporting for the corporate team.

Candidates will enjoy this position if they like working with people, have great attention to detail, understand data and reporting standards, and enjoy working within semi-regular routines. For this position, payroll knowledge and hard work are important, but even more important is having the right attitude and a willingness to contribute wherever needed.

Skills & Qualifications

· Familiarity with software such as ADP, Word, Excel. Experience with databases and data visualization preferred.

· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.

· Must be organized and have great attention to detail.
