Full Job Description

General:

The representative of Diamond Pharmacy Services and Medical Supply specializing in LTC AND ALF energetically takes the initiative to perform all activities necessary to attain established goals set by management and Director of Sales.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Invest the time and effort to achieve the established goals for your regional territory focusing on LTC ALF, hospice, physicians’ offices, hospitals and any other appropriate contacts.

2. Develop annual business plan and forecasting of prospect wins to achieve set goals provided by CEO, CFO and Director of Sales

3. Achieve designated goals in product sales including Medical Supplies, and any new products lines sourced by Diamond.

4. Maintain the required technical expertise in medical supplies and pharmacy services including policies and procedures, pricing etc.

5. Plan and organize all activities in Salesforce CRM platform to optimize the use of time and communication of various support teams within Diamond.

6. Coordinates, as needed, all customer service responsibilities with ALF, LTC and other facilities.

7. Coordinate with the DOS suggested sales and marketing agendas including decision making on Diamond suppliers for all shows (brochures, photos, promo items, leave behinds).

8. Has thorough knowledge of state and federal Medicaid and Medicare laws and DEA regulations.

9. Prepare and plan on site meetings with presentations that will lead to achieving the sale.

10. Freely share information with peers to coordinate sales between departments.

11. Project a professional image as demonstrated by neat physical appearance, and appropriate manner of speech with peers and at industry shows and facilities.

12. Maintains confidentiality of all patient and company information.

13. Maintain mileage reports and budgeted travel expenses.

Qualifications:

Education:

* High School diploma

* Graduate of College/University

Experience/Knowledge:

* Sales experience necessary

* Excellent communication skills

* Valid PA driver’s license

Physical Requirements:

In an 8 hour day the employee:

A. May lift/carry 5-15 lbs. frequently

B. Stands/walks up to 40% of the time

C. Sits up to 60% of the time

D. Drives a car/truck 5-6 hours
