Full Job Description

About the Role

As a Regional Quality Assurance Lead, you will spearhead initiatives to optimize and maintain robust Quality Management Systems across multiple manufacturing sites. You will leverage your technical expertise in flexible film and paper packaging to drive operational excellence and ensure our products consistently exceed internal and external quality benchmarks.

Responsibilities

Direct regional quality strategies, focusing on continuous improvement and the implementation of standardized quality protocols.
Oversee internal audit programs, corrective action processes, and non-conforming material management to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Analyze production data, scrap rates, and customer feedback to identify and execute high-impact process improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Design, and Supply Chain, to foster a culture of 'right first time' manufacturing.
Manage calibration systems and document control to maintain alignment with ISO and regulatory standards.
Mentor quality personnel and provide leadership on key performance metrics related to waste reduction and manufacturing efficiency.

Qualifications

Required Skills

Proven experience in quality management within flexible film manufacturing or paper packaging converting.
Deep understanding of ISO 9001 standards and food safety regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies, such as 5 Whys, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to interpret complex data and solve practical problems in dynamic environments.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple locations.

Preferred Skills

Experience with FSSC 22000 or similar food safety management systems.
Demonstrated success in project management and leading large-scale quality initiatives.
Technical proficiency in measurement systems and test equipment calibration.
