Full Job Description

We are currently looking for a new Senior Tax Accountant to join our team!

Responsibilities:

Preparation of simple to complex Business and Individual Tax Returns
Preparation of Trust, Non-Profit, Gift tax returns
Preparation of annual tax planning and consultations with clients
Assisting clients with business structure and the formation of new entities
Consistently handle the complete client engagement and relationship
Employs a reliable system for fulfilling responsibility for overall client engagement workflow of a particular client or clients.
Preparation of Florida sales and use tax requirements and reporting
Preparation of State and Federal payroll tax returns and annual tax filings, including notice resolution
Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports in various Accounting Software Programs

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Taxation
5+ years experience in taxation and accounting
CPA License or eligibility to take CPA exam preferred
Fundamental knowledge of GAAP and preparation of reviewed and compiled financial statements (not required)
Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools such as, Thomson Reuters Products and Onvio, QuickBooks Online and Desktop
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Must be able to work independently and manage their own projects
Great communicator with the ability to convey both analysis and findings to management and external clients (verbal and written)
Ability to research tax topics to answer tax questions and provide guidance
Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks online, to review accounting records and provide support to clients
Motivated to meet client deadlines and provide superior client service
A team player with strong relationship skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34.00 - $38.00 per hour
