Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. Duties

Prepare a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and confections, following established recipes and quality standards
Decorate cakes and desserts with precision using piping techniques, fondant, and other decorating tools
Manage food production processes efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Package baked items attractively for retail display or catering orders
Assist in food handling tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and assembling finished products
Support kitchen operations by maintaining organization of supplies and equipment
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures at all times

Qualifications

Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts within a food production or restaurant environment
Strong knowledge of food handling practices, safety standards, and kitchen hygiene
Demonstrated culinary experience with proficiency in cooking, food preparation, and baking techniques
Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various baking tools and equipment
Prior experience in catering or restaurant settings is preferred
