Full Job Description

Lincoln County Law Firm has an immediate opening for a dynamic, dedicated, and highly motivated Paralegal/Legal Assistant that provides strategic legal support at the firm's office in Troy, Missouri on a full-time basis. The job is fast paced and busy. We are looking for a self motivated Legal Assistant to ensure smooth running of the office and effective case management.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Typing, drafting documents, answering phones and corresponding with the Court, other lawyers and clients.
Provide a broad spectrum of legal services under the supervision of an attorney.
Provide administrative support to lawyer and enhance office effectiveness.
Handle communication with clients, witnesses, Court, other lawyers and providers.
Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence.
Answer and direct phone calls.
Maintain contact lists.
Monitor deadlines and juggle calendars.

Our Ideal Candidate will possess the following:

3+ years of legal experience preferred, but not required
Must be comfortable with Microsoft word, excel and outlook
Strong computer skills. Typing skills are a must.
Strong written and oral communication skills
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills
Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
