Neurofeedback Technician

Job Overview

At Soaak Clinics, we are committed to delivering exceptional care and unparalleled customer service to our clients. Our approach is built on a foundation of excellence by creating memorable moments, exceeding expectations, and maintaining the highest standards of care.

We are seeking a F-PRSS certified or Case Manager II Neurofeedback Technician for our Tulsa office who will be responsible for overall patient care by assisting with intake evaluations, monitoring neurofeedback therapy sessions, and supporting clients throughout their treatment process. This position includes training in Neurofeedback services and protocols. Hourly rate is commensurate with experience. We are looking to fill a Full-Time position.

Job Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

F-PRSS Certification or Case Manager II
High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
Experience as a mental health technician or demonstrable experience with neuroanatomy, psychology, behavioral health, or related field preferred
Solid computer and technical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving, organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking abilities
Detail-oriented with strong time-management skills
Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service mindset
Ability to remain calm in emergency situations and make appropriate decisions according to clinic policies and procedures
Ability to provide educated and compassionate responses to clients and families regarding treatment questions and concerns
Ability to learn and follow HIPAA patient privacy guidelines while maintaining professionalism, tact, and confidentiality
Ability to maintain a professional appearance and attitude
Ability to stand for up to 30 minutes at a time
Ensure technician stations and treatment rooms remain clean, sanitized, and organized

Key Responsibilities

Conduct F-PRSS intake evaluations for clients prior to beginning Neurofeedback services
Administer Neurofeedback treatments to clients, including scalp preparation and application of electrodes
Receive training in Neurofeedback procedures, protocols, and equipment operation
Assist clients by completing computerized assessments during initial Neurofeedback sessions to measure symptoms and areas of concern
Monitor clients throughout Neurofeedback sessions and ensure patient comfort and safety
Manage patient progress and review training effectiveness with supervisors and clinical staff
Enter session notes, protocol information, and documentation within required timelines
Operate Neurofeedback equipment to monitor brainwave activity throughout sessions
Exercise proper care and maintenance of Neurofeedback equipment and supplies
Collect and document detailed records including intake assessments, progress notes, and behavioral observations in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Assist with behavioral management strategies and crisis intervention when necessary
Support clients during treatment using behavior management and de-escalation techniques when appropriate
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support treatment planning and client progress
Maintain a clean, organized treatment environment and ensure all equipment is properly sanitized and functioning
Educate clients and families about Neurofeedback procedures and behavioral health concepts

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 per week
