Overview

Night Dispatcher position at a fast-paced logistics company.

One Source Logistics is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Night Driver Manager / Dispatcher to join our operations team. This position plays a critical role in monitoring drivers, coordinating loads, and maintaining communication during overnight operations. This is a fast-paced position that requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate can remain calm under pressure while managing multiple drivers and ensuring freight moves safely and efficiently.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight
Monitor active loads and maintain oversight of drivers on priority jobs
Update driver and asset statuses throughout the shift
Communicate job updates and critical information to drivers in real time
Monitor company phones and email and respond to incoming driver communications
Perform data entry and update transportation management systems
Reach out to carrier administrators or drivers when communication lapses occur
Track and analyze transportation data to help improve operational efficiency
Assist drivers with routing, job details, and operational questions
Identify potential issues or delays and work quickly to resolve them
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal team members
Monitor driver performance and notify leadership when patterns or concerns arise

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of transportation planning and logistics is a plus
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
- Experience with transportation management systems is a plus (Our system is easily teachable)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities

Qualifications/Skills:

(Required)

Must be proficient and comfortable with spreadsheets (Google and Excel)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Must be able to read, write, and speak both English (Spanish Bilingual is a plus)
Must be able to put yourself in a customer service mindset; be polite and mindful when communicating
Must be self-motivated
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities

Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
Experience with transportation management systems

Educational/Experience Requirements:

High-School Diploma or GED
Customer Service or Logistics experience preferred, but not required

Compensation

Pay $800-$1,500 per week based on experience
