Overview

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Guest Room Attendant and become a vital part of creating memorable guest experiences! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. Your dedication to high standards of cleanliness and hospitality will ensure our guests feel comfortable, welcomed, and valued throughout their stay. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your cleaning expertise and customer service skills in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Duties

Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure a pristine environment.
Handle chemical agents safely and efficiently, following all safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols for chemical handling and sanitation.
Use appropriate cleaning equipment for floor care, carpet cleaning, and surface sanitation to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Perform heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or supplies to facilitate thorough cleaning processes.
Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms by executing janitorial tasks with precision.
Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or inquiries related to housekeeping needs.

Qualifications

Prior experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued!
Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, floor cleaning, vacuuming, and sanitation practices.
Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines.
Strong manual handling skills with the capacity for heavy lifting and physical activity throughout shifts.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest satisfaction.
Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management systems or janitorial equipment is a plus.
Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in accordance with hotel standards and hospitality best practices.
