Mobile Phlebotomist (Per Diem) – Modesto, CA

Service Area: Modesto, CA and surrounding facilities

Position Overview

Lemedix LLC is seeking a dependable and experienced Per Diem Mobile Phlebotomist to provide mobile specimen collection services at healthcare facilities throughout the Modesto area.

This position primarily serves skilled nursing facilities, long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare locations.

Candidates should reside in or near Modesto and be comfortable traveling between assigned facilities throughout the territory.

Schedule

Per diem / as needed
PM shifts
Saturday–Wednesday
Schedule and hours may vary based on facility coverage and business needs

Qualifications

Active California Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT I or CPT II) License
Minimum of one (1) year of phlebotomy experience preferred
Strong venipuncture, capillary collection, and specimen-handling skills
Knowledge of specimen labeling, transportation, and laboratory protocols
Valid California driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and maintain accurate documentation
Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality

Essential Responsibilities

Travel to assigned healthcare facilities to perform mobile specimen collections
Verify patient identity and perform blood draws in accordance with company policies and safety standards
Properly label, document, and transport specimens while maintaining specimen integrity
Maintain accurate collection logs, mileage records, and timekeeping through company-approved systems
Safeguard Protected Health Information (PHI) and comply with HIPAA requirements
Maintain phlebotomy supplies and promptly report inventory or equipment needs
Communicate effectively with dispatch, laboratory personnel, couriers, facility staff, and management
Respond promptly to work-related calls, texts, and schedule updates during assigned shifts
Perform additional duties as assigned to support field operations
