Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Assistant Manager to lead and enhance our HR operations. This vital role combines hands-on management of human capital processes with strategic planning to foster a thriving, compliant, and engaged workforce. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, ensuring that all HR functions align with organizational goals and legal standards. Join us to drive talent development, streamline HR systems, and cultivate a positive workplace culture that empowers employees at every level.

Duties

Oversee human resources management activities, including talent acquisition, employee onboarding, orientation programs, and employee evaluation processes.
Lead change management initiatives to support organizational growth and transformation efforts effectively.
Manage benefits administration, payroll processing, and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data entry to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Develop and implement workforce management strategies, including succession planning, organization design, and performance management systems.
Ensure regulatory compliance with employment law, labor regulations, FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), workers' compensation policies, and affirmative action plans.
Facilitate employee relations by resolving conflicts, conducting training & development sessions, and promoting a positive work environment.
Utilize HR sourcing tools such as ATS (Applicant Tracking System), Lever, Taleo, UltiPro, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Ceridian, and Dayforce for recruitment and data analysis purposes.

Requirements

Proven experience in human resources department operations with a strong understanding of employment & labor law and HR legal compliance standards.
Demonstrated expertise in human capital management, talent management, project management, and strategic planning.
Proficiency in HR systems including HRIS platforms like UltiPro, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors or Ceridian; advanced skills in Excel data analysis are highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly while fostering positive employee relations.
Strong organizational skills with experience in personnel administration, benefits administration, payroll processing, and administrative tasks.
Ability to lead change initiatives effectively while managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications or experience in employment law in talent management or HR legal compliance are preferred.
Bilingual (Korean/English) is required
