Overview

Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Waiter, where your energy and passion for exceptional guest experiences will shine! Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
Assist with food handling, preparation support, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients in line with sanitation guidelines
Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements for maximum efficiency

Requirements

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining settings preferred
Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with POS systems is essential
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor and guest relations expertise
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and process sales efficiently using POS systems
Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques is highly desirable
Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods while maintaining quality service
Basic math skills for order calculations, billing, and change processing
Food safety certification or willingness to obtain necessary food handling certifications prior to employment
Experience in upselling techniques to promote menu items confidently and increase sales revenue
