UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of the system serving hundreds of thousands annually. Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, our midtown location boasts a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, the region’s only EMCO program and a Level III NICU. Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.

Responsibilities:

As an Administrative Assistant within our Administration team, you’ll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day effectiveness of healthcare system leadership. This is a great opportunity for an organized, professional, and motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking to grow their career within healthcare administration.

Provide administrative support to members of the healthcare system’s leadership team, helping manage priorities and maintain an efficient executive office.
Prepare reports, correspondence, and other materials by gathering and organizing information to support leadership decision-making.
Communicate professionally with internal and external customers while serving as a trusted representative of the Administration team.
Handle sensitive and confidential information with a high level of professionalism, discretion, and judgment.
Maintain organized and accurate files, records, reports, and correspondence to support efficient day-to-day operations.
Utilize technology and office systems to manage information, documentation, and communications.
Assist with maintaining required documentation and supporting compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Work independently, prioritize competing needs, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

Three (3) or more years of secretarial or administrative experience with progressive responsibility
