The Psychometrist is responsible for scoring neuropsychological, intellectual, personality, academic, and/or forensic evaluations conducted by a psychologist or neuropsychologist. This position may also assist with collecting demographic information from patients and assisting with various clerical duties such as patient scheduling, referral review, patient registration, procurement of office supplies, etc.
Major Responsibilities/Duties/Critical Tasks

Administer and score standardized tests.

Manage patient behavior during neuropsychological testing and evaluation.

Maintain accurate medical records.

Facilitate accurate billing by tracking and documenting service provision times.

Ensure the confidentiality of test results and the security of testing materials.

Coordinate the purchase of the necessary testing supplies and maintain test material.

Collaborate with IT and vendor support to ensure maintenance of all testing and scoring.

Assisting in clerical tasks, such as scheduling, referral review, return calls, and patient registration, as needed.
Required Education/Experience
-
Bachelor degree in psychology with direct experience in neuropsychological testing.

A combination of experience and education may be considered.

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
