Job Title: Logistics Specialist (full-time)
Reports to: Logistics Manager
Supervises: N/A (Individual Contributor)
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (hourly, overtime-eligible)
Location: Tyler, TX campus and geographic region; travel as needed.
Pay Range: $16.82-$19.23/hr.
The Logistics Coordinator coordinates lab logistics, equipment preparation, supply management, paperwork processing, shipping, inventory, and lab-site readiness for an assigned campus and geographic region.
- Prepares and delivers regular logistics reports, including upcoming lab needs, during Logistics CompStat meetings and other operational meetings as assigned.
- Manages School of EMS equipment, supplies, instructional materials, inventory, shipping, receiving, delivery, pickup, and restocking for the assigned campus and geographic region.
- Confirms lab site reservations, shipping information, equipment needs, facility readiness, supplies, paperwork, and instructional materials prior to scheduled labs.
- Coordinates with Regional Logistics Coordinators to ensure campus supply needs are met.
- Maintains completed lab records by organizing returned paperwork, scanning completed documents, resolving paperwork discrepancies, and supporting digital record archival processes.
- May assist with instructional coverage during instructor shortages or call-offs, if properly qualified.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, locations, records, paperwork, digital files, and competing operational priorities.
Basic computer proficiency, including experience with email, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, shared drives, online forms, and digital document management.
Ability to communicate professionally with instructors, students, staff, vendors, facility contacts, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work independently while supporting a team-based operational environment.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Preferred: Previous experience in logistics, inventory management, operations support, education support, healthcare, EMS, public safety, training, or a related field.
Experience coordinating supplies, equipment, schedules, facilities, shipping, receiving, purchasing, equipment maintenance, supply ordering, or training events.
EMS certification, previous EMS experience, or familiarity with EMS equipment, medical supplies, manikins, training kits, instructional materials, simulation equipment, or hands-on training environments.
Experience using inventory tracking systems, student information systems, learning management systems, scheduling platforms, or other operational software systems.
Prior experience assisting with budget tracking, supply forecasting, operational reporting, leadership coordination, or team support.
- EMS certification is preferred but not required.
- Organizational & Logistics Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills managing equipment, supplies, paperwork, schedules, records, and multiple lab locations simultaneously; ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, follow established procedures, and adapt to changing operational needs; strong attention to detail in preparing, reviewing, tracking, scanning, filing, and archiving lab paperwork and operational documents; ability to accurately track, order, restock, inspect, maintain, and prepare lab supplies, instructional materials, manikins, and other training equipment; ability to coordinate shipping, receiving, delivery, pickup, setup, equipment movement, and facility readiness for assigned lab locations.
- Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, instructors, students, vendors, facility contacts, and other stakeholders; ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle student, instructor, and operational records.
- Analytical & Forecasting Ability: Ability to forecast supply, equipment, staffing, facility, inventory, and operational needs based on upcoming labs, live weeks, added classes, and assigned campus activities; ability to identify equipment or supply shortages, communicate needs in a timely manner, and participate in inventory reporting, budget planning, and operational updates.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including the ability to use email, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, shared drives, online forms, scheduling platforms, tracking systems, and digital document management tools.
