Regal Machine Mfg. is seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our growing team. This position is responsible for measuring, fabricating, and welding metal components to meet company and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will be experienced in welding mild steel and stainless steel, interpreting technical drawings, and producing high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Measure, fabricate, and weld metal components according to engineering drawings and customer requirements.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols.
Set up and operate MIG welding equipment based on material type, thickness, and project requirements.
Perform visual inspections of welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
Fabricate parts using various welding, cutting, grinding, and finishing techniques.
Operate and maintain hand and pneumatic power tools, including grinders, sanders, drills, saws, and related equipment.
Use measuring tools and inspection equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and on time.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
Support varying production quantities and overtime requirements as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum experience welding mild steel and stainless steel in a production environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience using measuring and inspection equipment.
Strong understanding of metal fabrication and welding processes.
Ability to operate hand and pneumatic power tools safely and effectively.
Basic computer skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, pulling, and twisting.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Must be able to safely operate welding and fabrication equipment.
