Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will operate and set up press brake machines to bend and shape sheet metal with precision and efficiency. Set up and operate forming equipment as required, provide instruction as required.

* Please note, we are in Shiloh, Ohio*

Responsibilities

Set up, operate and troubleshoot all forming jobs, provide instruction as required.
Demonstrate ability to perform prototype forming and engineering job request.
Assist Proto/Engineering Department on tooling, design, troubleshooting and requirements.
Produce and verify parts as outlined in procedures and work instructions in the department manual.
Make Supervisor and /or Plant Manager aware of safety issues and concerns.
Perform general housekeeping duties as directed.
Perform duties as directed by Supervisor and /or Plant Manager.
Dispose of scrap material as directed. Authorization to scrap material must be approved by Supervisor.
Make Supervisor and /or Plant Manager aware of non-conformance in product.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Must be able to Read, write, and comprehend job duties.
Must be able to perform your job duties while being safety oriented.
Communicate well to Engineering and Proto when changes need to be made.
Must be able to read and comprehend Blueprints.
Be able to read job descriptions and manuals as needed on the job.
Good Housekeeping skills.
Must have basic knowledge of ISO.
