Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Church Secretary. As the first point of contact for our church,
you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring smooth
operations.
Responsibilities:
-- Greet and assist visitors, members, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person
- Manage the church calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
- Keep all church bank accounts up to date and reconciled using Quickbooks.

-Payment of all church financials obligations and coordination with local CPA firms.
- Maintain accurate records of membership information, contributions, and other
important and confidential data
- Assist with the preparation of church bulletins, newsletters, and other communications
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and email correspondence
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory
- Coordinate facility maintenance requests and repairs
Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative or front desk role is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge in Quickbooks Online is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines
- Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor

This is a part-time position Monday- Thursday. Hourly pay is based on experience. If
you are organized, detail-oriented, and have a passion for supporting the church
