Summary

We are seeking an Temporary Accounts Payable Associate to join our team at Niagara Bottling. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely payments to vendors, and maintaining accurate financial records. Your contributions will play a vital role in supporting our operations and upholding our commitment to quality service.

Responsibilities

Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely.
Verify invoices against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies.
Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
Prepare reports on accounts payable activities for management review.
Collaborate with internal departments to address payment inquiries and issues.

Requirements

Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software.
EDI experience preferred.
Proficient in MS Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members.
