Inspect furniture to identify damage, defects, and repair requirements

Rebuild, repair, and restore residential and commercial furniture to manufacturer and company standards

Repair wood, upholstery, leather, laminate, veneer, metal, and other furniture materials

Perform touch-ups, refinishing, color matching, and structural repairs
-
Assemble and disassemble furniture for delivery, installation, or repair
-
Replace damaged hardware, legs, mechanisms, cushions, upholstery, and other components

Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment
-
Maintain accurate repair documentation and material usage records
-
Ensure all repairs meet company quality standards and manufacturer specifications

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
-
Communicate professionally with vendors and team members regarding repair timelines

Load, unload, and transport furniture as needed
-
Follow all company safety policies and procedures

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
-
Hands-on experience rebuilding, repairing, and restoring residential and commercial furniture is required. Previous experience in furniture repair, woodworking, upholstery, cabinet making, or a related trade preferred

Strong knowledge of furniture construction, furniture rebuilding techniques, finishing methods, and structural repairs

Ability to read work orders and follow repair instructions

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Valid driver's license may be required depending on business needs
