Rosemary Foodservice has an open opportunity for a Sous Chef in Champaign.

Chef-Driven Menus: Collaborate on fresh, from scratch, monthly, seasonal menus inspired by local ingredients and global flavors.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
Assist in menu development and sourcing ingredients from broad-line purveyors and local suppliers.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
Foster a collaborative and positive team environment

Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in classical and modern progressive cuisine.
Proficiency in protein and fish butchery.
Experience in kitchen management and menu development.
ServSafe Manager level certification is required or the ability to get it within 30 days of hire.
Strong communication skills and a passion for culinary excellence.

This full-time position offers a starting pay of $750 per week, with benefits including health insurance, dental and vision coverage, paid time off for most holidays, a 401(k) plan, work-life balance, and a chef-focused culture.
