Full Job Description

Position OverviewWe are seeking a committed and experienced Residential Treatment Director to oversee the daily operations of our residential treatment program. The Director is responsible for ensuring safe, effective, and high-quality care for all residents while maintaining compliance with state regulations and program standards. This role requires strong leadership, staff management, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to be on call 24/7 to respond to emergencies or urgent needs. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of residential operations. Ensure compliance with all licensing, accreditation, and contractual requirements. Supervise, train, and support staff; oversee scheduling and performance management. Monitor resident care and treatment plans to ensure therapeutic goals are met. Participate in and lead treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and leadership planning. Develop, update, and enforce program policies and procedures. Manage incidents, crisis situations, and critical communications. Build and maintain positive relationships with case managers, state agencies, families, and community partners. Ensure accurate documentation, timely reporting, and regulatory readiness.Maintain on-call availability 24/7 to support staff and ensure resident and facility safety. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

Minimum 3 years of supervisory or program leadership experience in residential treatment, behavioral health, or human services. Strong knowledge of licensing requirements and residential best practices. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to manage crises calmly and professionally. Flexible schedule with 24/7 on-call availability.Compensation & BenefitsPay Rate: $28 – $35 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Full-time, exempt position.
