Full Job Description

Scope of Position:

Behavioral Management Provider: to provide ongoing interventions that support the child and family in implementing a care plan.

Job Type: Part-Time and Full-Time

Hours: Flexible, varies from Sunday to Saturday

Pay Rate: $30-$40 per hour, based on experience

Requirements:

● Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and vehicle insurance. Must be willing to commute up to 30 minutes ● Must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma, high school equivalency. ● 2,000 hours experience with youth who have serious emotional disturbances (SED) is required. ● Bachelor's Degree Required.

● Lived experience is valued.

● Background checks and fingerprinting are required for employment, with costs covered by the employer.

Key Competencies:

● A demonstrated ability to motivate and challenge youth to commit, participate, and remain engaged to complete goals

● Organized with strong follow-up

● Mature, uses good judgment

● Good Listener

● Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills

● An understanding of and sensitivity to the emotional, social and academic needs of youth during different developmental stages.

Duties:

Create activity plan that coincides with overall goals for mentee
Create schedule to visit with mentee
Submit detailed notes into reporting system after each visit
