Retail Sales Associate - Julien's & Mi Vida Boutiques

About Us:

Julien's and Mi Vida are two vibrant boutiques located in the heart of Uvalde, TX. We offer unique, fashionable clothing, gifts, and accessories to our community, both in-store and online. Our team is passionate about fashion, customer service, and creating an unforgettable shopping experience for every customer.

Position Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and fashion-forward Retail Sales Associates to join our team. We have openings for both full-time and part-time positions. As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of our boutiques, providing exceptional customer service both in-store and through our social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them throughout their shopping experience
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our products and current fashion trends
• Provide personalized styling advice to customers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment
• Operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions accurately
• Assist with inventory management
• Contribute to achieving daily and monthly sales goals
• Participate in visual merchandising and store displays
• Engage with customers on social media platforms
• Stay informed about our social media content and promotions

Potential Additional Responsibilities:

• Create and post engaging social media content
• Participate in live selling events
• Assist in creating and editing short-form video content
• Collaborate on creative marketing ideas

Qualifications:

• Passion for fashion and retail
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory
• Proficiency with social media platforms
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
• Previous retail experience is a plus, but not required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are highly valued

Preferred (But Not Required) Skills:

• Creative mindset with an eye for aesthetics and visual storytelling
• Willingness to be on camera for live selling events and social media content
• Understanding of social media best practices and trends in retail
• Ability to create engaging written and visual content
• Experience with live selling or video content creation

Work Schedule:

• Full-time positions: Typically 35-40 hours per week
• Part-time positions: Flexible hours, minimum of 15-20 hours per week
• May require some evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Some positions may require availability for occasional live selling events
