Role Summary
The Digital Merchandising Operations Coordinator supports the accuracy and day-to-day maintenance of KUIU's ecommerce catalog and site structure. This entry-level role will be trained to assist with product setup, navigation, promotions, ratings and reviews, and other operational tasks that help deliver a seamless, customer-friendly digital shopping experience.
Working within a small, agile team, the Coordinator will gain hands-on experience with KUIU's ecommerce platforms, merchandising processes, and digital operations while supporting product launches, site merchandising initiatives, and continuous improvements across the customer journey.
The ideal candidate is organized, curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how product data, search, navigation, and customer feedback work together to improve product discoverability, customer experience, and business performance.
Role and Responsibilities
KUIU seeks an early-career ecommerce professional who is eager to learn and grow within a direct-to-consumer environment. Reporting to the SVP of Ecommerce, this role will:
Catalog & Product Operations
· Support the setup and maintenance of products, variants, bundles, collections, and category structures across the ecommerce platform.
· Review and update product data, including attributes, tagging, pricing, availability, imagery, and metadata, following established standards.
· Assist with site taxonomy, navigation, filters, and facets to keep products organized and easy to find.
· Support promotional readiness by validating product eligibility and exclusions and configuring promotional codes with training and oversight.
· Perform QA on product, category, promotional, and navigation updates and escalate issues when needed.
· Follow data hygiene and product lifecycle processes that support launches, discontinuations, inventory changes, reporting, and future experimentation tools.
Ratings & Reviews (Yotpo) Oversight
· Support day-to-day administration and moderation of Yotpo ratings and reviews across the site.
· Verify ratings, review counts, user-generated content, and review submission flows; flag display or synchronization issues and assist with troubleshooting.
· Escalate product quality concerns and recurring customer feedback to the appropriate cross-functional partners.
· Help prepare recurring review insights and identify opportunities to improve PDP information, merchandising, and customer confidence.
Merchandising Operations Support
· Support site health and product discoverability by reviewing 404, broken-link, and zero-results search reports and helping document, escalate, and implement fixes.
· Perform email campaign QA by testing links and destination pages and confirming that landing experiences align with campaign messaging and merchandising objectives.
· Monitor online product availability by comparing inventory and publishing status, partnering with Site Experience and Brand teams to resolve issues, and supporting Customer Service with available restock timing.
· Partner with the Senior Digital Merchandising Manager on seasonal priorities, product groupings, catalog workflows, and other merchandising support needs.
Professional Qualifications
· 0–2 years of ecommerce, digital operations, merchandising, retail, or related experience; relevant internships or project experience are welcome.
· Interest in learning ecommerce platforms such as Shopify; prior CMS, catalog, or product-data experience is helpful but not required.
· Basic familiarity with html, photoshop, product data, navigation, search, or digital merchandising concepts, with a willingness to learn KUIU’s processes and standards.
· Exposure to ratings and reviews tools such as Yotpo or business systems such as NetSuite, Celigo, ERP, PIM, or OMS platforms is a plus; training will be provided.
· Comfort reviewing reports, identifying patterns, and communicating findings to team members.
· Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
· Interest in ecommerce analytics, search optimization, and A/B testing is a plus.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
