Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Administrator to oversee daily operations within our small 28-bed assisted living community. This role is ideal for a true leader who can champion a team, set the tone for professionalism, and support a positive and respectful work environment. The Assistant Administrator will help ensure the home runs smoothly, staff maintain high standards of professionalism and work decorum, and residents receive compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

Supervise caregivers and medication technicians
Coordinate resident admissions, move-ins, and care services
Ensure compliance with California RCFE regulations
Maintain staffing schedules and provide shift leadership
Partner closely with the campus Administrator and SNF leadership
Assist with family communication
Support licensing surveys and quality assurance activities

Qualifications

Experience working in an RCFE, assisted living, or senior care setting preferred. Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of RCFE regulations is a plus. Compassionate, dependable, and able to lead by example.

Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
