Pundir Group, Inc. (PGI) is currently looking for a full-time Stationary Engineerin San Francisco, CA. This position is attached to the Collective Bargaining Agreement between Pundir Group, Inc. and the International Union of Operating Engineers – Local 39 (“CBA”).
This role is responsible for performing engineering operations and mechanical/electrical services in accordance with the customer contract and requirements. Additionally, this position will have the responsibilities outlined in the CBA and as follows:
● Perform O&M and repairs on all HVAC systems and requirements including chillers, boilers, AHUs, pumps, motors, valves, cooling towers and all associated equipment and systems.
● Operate/maintain BAS including motors, actuators, controllers, dampers and linkages.
● Operate and monitor FLS systems including fire pumps, emergency generators, fire-control panel and end devices.
● Test water treatment chemical levels on open and closed heating/cooling loops.
● Respond to service requests and complete the CMMS generated PMs and work orders.
● Perform rounds and readings on all operating electro-mechanical equipment and systems, critical building equipment, and metering systems.
● Perform scheduled PM in accordance with the Preventive Maintenance plan, Standard Maintenance and Operating Procedures, and the recommended OEM requirements.
● Respond to building emergencies, equipment failures and service calls as received and dispatched to them by the Assistant Chief, Chief Engineer or Property Manager.
● Operate and maintain ancillary systems including doors, locks, bathroom fixtures.
● Support other buildings managed by the company as needed.
Minimum qualifications:
● Journeyman HVAC certification letter from IUOE Local 39
● Experience in the maintenance and operation of a HVAC and related equipment
● Completion of either (1) an apprenticeship; OR (2) four years of experience performing duties such as O&M and repair of boiler, HVAC and power equipment including the O&M of HVAC systems involving the use of automatic controls.
● Ability to successfully complete a background check
