We are seeking an Echo Technologist PRN. As an Echo Technologist, you will be responsible and accountable in performing procedures, and contributes to physician diagnosis. Your tasks and responsibilities include:

You will verify physician order and review patient’s cardiac history prior to the procedure.
- You will prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner in accordance with established operating procedures.

You will collect clear data for physician analysis of cardiac structure and functioning.
- You will ensure reports are processed and report data is provided to physician at completion of procedure.

You will maintain effective communication with patient; provides explanation procedures within scope of practice.
- You will maintain proactive and effective communication with cardiologist regarding any unusual clinical findings or history.
Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited; approved program in Sonography
-
Registry/registry eligible from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)

BLS
-
One to three years’ experience
- Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, computer, clerical
