We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Sous Chef/Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. As a key player in our kitchen, you will oversee daily operations, supervise team members, and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance on food production, food safety sanitizing procedures, and overall kitchen management.
Assist in menu planning and food preparation for special events such as banquets and catering functions.
Manage inventory control and food handling to minimize waste while ensuring the availability of fresh ingredients for daily service.
Enforce food safety standards and sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean, safe working environment compliant with health regulations.
Oversee shift management tasks including coordinating team schedules, monitoring performance, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
Support dietary department needs by preparing specialized meals and accommodating dietary restrictions when required.

Qualifications

Proven culinary experience in fine dining settings with a strong background in food production and food service management.
Supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment, demonstrating leadership skills and team management capabilities.
Extensive knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and inventory management practices.
Experience with banquet service, catering, and managing large-scale food production is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of kitchen operations including menu planning, cost control, inventory control, and shift management.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Excellent communication skills combined with a passion for hospitality and serving guests with professionalism.
