Job Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This energetic position combines clinical support with front desk responsibilities, offering a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a welcoming dental environment. You will be the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, and medical records while assisting dental professionals with clinical tasks. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a positive experience for every patient.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk, including answering multi-line phone systems and scheduling appointments
process payments,
Assist dental practitioners during procedures by preparing instruments, taking x-rays, and maintaining sterilization protocols in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Maintain detailed and accurate dental records, including documentation review of treatment plans, care plans,
Manage patient intake processes, including collecting medical history information
Support administrative functions such as filing medical records, and managing clinic schedules to optimize patient flow
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while handling inquiries about dental services, and appointment scheduling

Experience

Previous clinic or dental office experience is highly preferred, with familiarity in dental terminology and medical billing practices
