Full Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and professional Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and clerical support in a busy legal office. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a legal environment, strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative and clerical support to attorney.
Manage calendars and schedule appointments, meetings, hearings, and other legal matters.
Coordinate scheduling with clients, attorneys, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties as needed.
Prepare, organize, scan, copy, and file legal documents and correspondence.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including preparing documents and packages for mailing.
Maintain organized electronic and physical files.
Assist with document preparation and formatting.
Answer and direct phone calls and respond to routine correspondence.
Assist with client communications and provide professional customer service.
Track deadlines, appointments, and important case-related dates.
Perform general office administration and maintain an organized and professional office environment.
Assist attorney with various administrative and legal support tasks.
Maintain confidentiality of client information and sensitive legal matters.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

Prior experience working in a legal office is required.
Paralegal education, knowledge, or prior paralegal experience is a bonus.
Familiarity with legal terminology, court procedures, and legal documents is preferred.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5pm
