Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Make Ready /Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all facilities and equipment through effective maintenance practices. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, and the ability to troubleshoot various issues. The Maintenance Technician will also play a key role in supervising maintenance staff and providing exceptional customer service.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise.
Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control machinery.
Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
Interpret schematics and technical drawings to diagnose problems accurately.
Maintain records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Oversee residential painting projects to ensure quality standards are met.
Provide leadership and supervision to junior maintenance staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with clients or other departments.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.

Qualifications

Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
Electrical experience is essential; familiarity with ohmmeters is preferred.
Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.
Welding skills are a plus for performing necessary repairs.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
Previous supervisory experience is advantageous for leading maintenance teams.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A customer service-oriented mindset, ensuring client satisfaction at all times.
