Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Office Assistant/Cashier to join our team! This role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining an organized office environment. The ideal candidate will be energetic, proactive, and possess strong communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. As a key point of contact at the front desk and cashier station, you will support administrative tasks, manage client interactions, and assist with office management duties to keep our workplace running seamlessly.

Duties

Greet visitors, clients, and vendors warmly at the front desk, providing professional and friendly customer service
Operate multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries, direct calls appropriately, and handle phone etiquette with professionalism
Manage cash register transactions accurately using QuickBooks or similar accounting software; process payments efficiently
Maintain organized filing systems, perform data entry tasks, and ensure all records are up-to-date and confidential information is handled securely
Support office management activities including scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and managing office supplies
Assist with bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking, and reconciling accounts using Microsoft Office tools
Provide clerical support including proofreading documents, typing correspondence, and performing general administrative duties to support team operations

Experience

Prior office experience or administrative support roles demonstrating organizational skills and multitasking ability
Proficiency in QuickBooks for bookkeeping and financial transactions
Strong computer literacy with expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience handling multi-line phone systems and delivering excellent customer service
Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse clients and team members
Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion
Personal assistant or office management experience is advantageous but not required; a proactive attitude is essential
