Preschool Teacher - Waypoint Early Learning

Waypoint Early Learning is a Christian based daycare that is looking for a nurturing, reliable, and playful Preschool teacher to join our team! We are a child-centered program that values curiosity, connection, and learning through play that teaches Bible stories to the children.

If you love getting messy, reading stories, supporting big emotions, and creating a safe, joyful space for children - this might be the perfect fit for you.

What you'll do:

* Create a warm, engaging classroom environment for young children.

* Plan and leave age-appropriate, play-based activities.

* Support children's social-emotional development

* Maintain a clean and safe classroom

* Communicate with families in a positive and professional way

* Work collaboratively with a supportive team.

We're looking for someone who:

* Has experience working with young children (preschool age preferred)

* Is patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoys beings with kids

* Can stay calm and flexible in a busy environment

* Values kindness, connection, and play-based learning

REQUIREMENTS

- Must be enrolled in the Central Background Registry

- Have a current CPR/First Aid certification

- Have a current food handlers card

- Meet Oregon licensing requirements (or be willing to obtain within required timelines), including required safety training's and participation in the Oregon Registry
