Pharmacy Manager - Nuclear

Carlsbad, CA

$180,000 - $190,000

A leading radiopharmaceutical network is looking for a Nuclear Pharmacist ready to step into a management role. Strong salary, a meaningful mission, and the backing of a global pharmaceutical group with serious investment in the sector.

If you are a BCNP-qualified pharmacist with management experience, this one is worth a look.

What you'll be doing

Leading and managing all aspects of the nuclear pharmacy operation in Carlsbad, including receipt, preparation, and dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals
Ensuring full compliance with NRC, DEA, state board, and USP requirements across the pharmacy
Managing inventory, waste disposal, and radiation safety in line with all regulatory standards
Building and leading your pharmacy team, setting standards and driving performance
Maintaining quality systems, documentation, and audit readiness
Serving as the pharmacy's primary point of contact for hospital nuclear medicine departments and referring clinicians

What you'll need

Active Nuclear Pharmacist licence; Board Certified Nuclear Pharmacist (BCNP) strongly preferred
Proven experience in nuclear pharmacy operations
Management or supervisory experience in a nuclear pharmacy setting
Strong working knowledge of NRC regulations, DEA requirements, and USP standards
Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clinical partners
