Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Location: Waco, Texas
Salary: $80,000-$90,000 per year, plus bonus potential
Relocation Assistance: $5,000-$10,000
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst Job Overview

Healthcare Recruiters International is recruiting a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a growing, clinic-based ABA organization in Waco, Texas.

This opportunity offers a manageable caseload, a consistent weekday schedule, dedicated clinical support, and clear opportunities for advancement. The organization is committed to ethical, evidence-based applied behavior analysis and provides its clinicians with the resources they need to deliver high-quality care without sacrificing work-life balance.

The BCBA will develop and oversee individualized ABA treatment programs for children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. This position reports directly to the Clinical Director and works closely with families, behavior technicians, clinical leaders, and operations team members.

BCBA Responsibilities

Conduct initial assessments and ongoing clinical evaluations
Develop individualized skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programs
Create and update treatment plans based on clinical needs, best practices, and payer requirements
Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyses
Develop and maintain behavior intervention plans
Supervise treatment implementation and monitor protocol fidelity
Review clinical data and adjust treatment programs as needed
Evaluate client progress and oversee transition and discharge planning
Provide regular parent and caregiver training
Offer clinical guidance and supervision to treatment team members
Collaborate with families, clinicians, operations staff, and interdisciplinary partners
Participate in team and departmental meetings
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Follow BACB ethical and professional standards
Maintain required certification, licensure, and continuing education

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in behavior analysis or a related field
Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification in good standing
Current Texas Licensed Behavior Analyst credential or ability to obtain Texas licensure
At least two years of experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities
Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong organization and time-management abilities
Commitment to ethical, evidence-based, family-centered care

Preferred Experience

Conducting behavioral assessments
Developing and managing ABA treatment plans
Supervising treatment implementation
Providing parent and caregiver training
Working in a clinic-based ABA setting

Client Population

The clinic primarily serves children ages 2-13. BCBAs may also have opportunities to work with older clients based on clinical needs. The organization does not impose age-out restrictions.
