Due to our rapid growth and current development projects with multiple Fortune 500 companies, we are looking for a team-focused, driven, and friendly Supply Chain & Logistics Manager to join our team!
Primary Responsibilities
Supply Chain Planning, Inventory & Forecasting
- Own the configuration and ongoing improvement of NetSuite Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and MRP, including item-level planning parameters, replenishment methods, and allocation strategies
- Analyze forecasts, production and BOM requirements, and inventory trends to ensure accurate material planning and on-time availability
- Establish and maintain inventory planning standards, replenishment procedures, and supply chain guidelines; ensure materials are ordered correctly and ahead of production needs
- Proactively monitor supply and demand, identify and resolve shortages, material constraints, and excess inventory risks before they impact production
- Monitor inventory accuracy and transaction integrity across purchasing, receiving, production, and shipping; identify discrepancies, correct them, and implement processes to prevent recurrence
- Ensure accurate inventory costing and maintain cost integrity across purchasing, receiving, and operational activity
Sourcing, Purchasing & Supplier Management
- Lead sourcing strategy, implement sourcing processes and standards, and direct the Purchaser in executing sourcing activities for new suppliers, components, materials, and services to support production, engineering changes, risk mitigation, and cost-reduction initiatives
- Identify, evaluate, qualify, and maintain alternate suppliers; develop supplier performance standards and ensure supply continuity and resilience
- Conduct vendor analysis and lead supplier negotiations on pricing, lead times, MOQs, and freight terms; drive cost-reduction initiatives through supplier consolidation and market analysis
- Monitor supplier performance; identify trends, drive cost improvements, and implement corrective actions
- Establish purchasing standards, procedures, and approval processes; provide direction and development to the Purchaser and ensure vendor master data accuracy in NetSuite
Logistics, Shipping, Receiving & Transportation Oversight
- Establish the processes, standards, and documentation needed to run all shipping, freight, receiving, delivery, customs, and transportation operations efficiently, accurately, and compliantly; maintain accountability for outcomes across all logistics functions
- Provide hands-on direction and oversight to the Logistics Supervisor and delivery team; ensure operations are executing correctly, safely, and compliantly, and address issues directly when they arise
- Establish and maintain freight management processes, including carrier selection, rate negotiation, cost monitoring, customs and tariff management, and performance reporting
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, customs documentation, and transportation policies; maintain and monitor compliance standards across all transportation activities
- Lead continuous improvement of the end-to-end delivery process and drive improvement initiatives across shipping, receiving, transportation, and freight operations
- Establish receiving processes and standards to ensure operational accuracy, material traceability, and timely movement of inventory
Analytics, Reporting & Process Improvement
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs across purchasing, inventory, supplier performance, freight, and logistics; establish ongoing monitoring to track performance, identify issues, and drive accountability
- Lead the full process improvement cycle across all areas — identify inefficiencies and root causes, implement solutions, document procedures, train teams, and monitor outcomes to ensure sustained improvement
- Develop and maintain SOPs, workflows, and operational documentation across all supply chain and logistics functions to support training, consistency, and scalability
- Identify automation opportunities across supply chain and logistics workflows and support their evaluation and implementation
- Lead supply chain and logistics improvement projects and cross-functional initiatives
Hours and Benefits
- Full-time, up to 40 hours per week
- Monday-Friday: 8am-4pm or 1Micro offers a flexible schedule between 7:00am to 5:00pm
- Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000k, depending on experience

Requirements/Qualifications
- Onsite position in Waconia, MN – No relocation assistance available.
- Eligible to work in the USA without sponsorship.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, logistics, inventory planning, or operations management within a manufacturing environment
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience required, including direct experience developing and mentoring team members
- Demonstrated ability to independently build, implement, and improve processes and standards without direction
- Strong understanding of supply and demand planning, MRP, forecasting, inventory control, sourcing, purchasing, logistics, receiving, and end-to-end supply chain processes
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems required; NetSuite experience (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, MRP, Inventory, Purchasing) strongly preferred
- Proficient in Excel and data analysis; experience with Jira or similar project management tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing environment where processes and standards are actively being built and improved
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational accuracy, documentation, and continuous improvement
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
