CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) – Full-Time | 2nd Shift Available | 8 & 12 Hour Shifts | Flexible Scheduling - Pay Rates Negotiable Based on Experience

JAG Healthcare Wooster is currently seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to join our direct care team as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Full-time and part-time positions are available on 1st shift, with flexible scheduling options including 8-hour, 12-hour, and swing shifts.

Not yet a CNA? No problem! We offer a FREE 2-week Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program through JAG Healthcare to help you start your career in healthcare.

JAG Healthcare Wooster is a welcoming 42-bed skilled nursing facility specializing in long-term care within a cognitive deficit and behavioral health resident care model serving an ALL-MALE resident population. Our team is dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centered care in a structured and supportive environment. We are seeking individuals who are committed to exceptional resident care, continuous quality improvement, and who are comfortable working with a younger behavioral health population.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, and activities of daily living
Respond to call lights and determine resident needs in a timely manner
Obtain and assist with meal trays, feeding, and hydration support
Report changes in resident condition promptly to the charge nurse or supervisor
Measure and record vital information including height, weight, intake, and output
Maintain positive and respectful interactions with residents, staff, and visitors

Skills & Qualifications

Valid Ohio Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (or willingness to complete training program)
Ability to work independently while remaining motivated and dependable
Positive attitude and willingness to help others
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently in a structured environment
Comfort working with a behavioral health resident population is strongly preferred
