Full Job Description

Logan Valley Mfg. (Hutchison Inc.) is a family-owned business that is a manufacturer, distributor and wholesaler of livestock and equine equipment products sold to farm and ranch suppliers. Logan Valley Manufacturing is a steel manufacture plant that makes steel stock tanks.

This position requires a good understanding of general labor duties in a warehouse environment. You will be working in several different stages of fabricating sheet metal as part of a team in the steel tank manufacturing process to produce the best stock tanks in the nation.

Duties

Prepare and complete orders for transport.
Lift and move inventory items such as steel tanks.
Understand and/or perform each phase of the process to produce stock tanks.
Automated Machinery Performance: includes learning and understanding.
Take machinery apart, remove and replace defective parts.
Preventative maintenance of machines
Assist others in different stages of the manufacturing process in a professional manner as part of a team.
Perform other essential duties within the manufacturing plan or assigned with this position

Requirements

Must be able to lift and push/pull a minimum 50 lbs. by himself/herself during the shift.
Must be able to stand on his/her feet for long periods of time and be able to operate equipment safely
Mechanical skills to perform machine repairs with direction.
Safety conscious and able to comply with all safety practices, policies, and procedures.
Ability to work after hours when needed and as requested by management.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including potential overtime as needed.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
