For our U.S. subsidiary V-LINE USA (Varioline Spare Parts Services Inc.) in Wall Township, NJ, we are looking for a:

Purchasing Assistant (m/f/d)

You will assist and support our team responsible for our customer base, coordinating customer and supplier concerns.

Job objectives:

Assist and support our Purchasing Team in day-to-day operations to ensure the daily business runs smoothly and to keep deadlines

What you can expect:

Process international customer inquiries
Data entry (where required)
Deadline tracking of supplier offers
Technical and commercial review of supplier offers
Prepare price quotations to customers within given deadlines
Timely clarification of customer and supplier queries
Prompt review and processing of customer orders

What you bring to the table:

Hard-Skills

Some experience in a similar position (purchasing) is beneficial
Proficient in standard usage of Outlook / Excel / Word
Experience in SAP is a plus, but not necessarily required
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
Speed and accuracy of data is essential

Soft-Skills

Excellent administrative and organizational skills
Able to work under pressure and prioritize to meet deadlines
Attention to detail and due diligence
Reliability
