The VP of Architecture & Integrations is a senior technology leader responsible for defining and executing Visual Comfort's enterprise architecture strategy and owning the end-to-end integration ecosystem. This role ensures seamless connectivity across the company's core platforms — including Boomi, Salesforce, Microsoft D365, and JD Edwards — while building a scalable, secure, and future-ready technology foundation.

How success is defined:
Enterprise Architecture
- Define and govern the enterprise architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy
- Establish and enforce architecture standards, patterns, and best practices across all technology domains
- Lead technology evaluation and selection for new platforms and capabilities
- Drive cloud strategy and modernization initiatives
Integration Platform & Governance
- Own the enterprise integration strategy with Boomi as the core middleware platform
- Design and govern integration patterns, APIs, and data flows across Salesforce, Microsoft D365, JDE, and other systems
- Establish integration governance including versioning, monitoring, error handling, and SLA management
- Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of the integration layer
Systems Leadership
- Serve as the technical authority across key platforms — Boomi, Salesforce CRM, Microsoft D365 (Finance & Operations), and JD Edwards ERP
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Lead architecture reviews for new implementations, upgrades, and third-party integrations
Team & Stakeholder Leadership
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of architects, integration engineers, and developers
- Partner closely with business leaders across Finance, Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain
- Communicate architecture vision and roadmap to executive leadership clearly and effectively
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party technology partners
Security & Compliance
- Ensure all architecture and integration designs meet security, compliance, and data governance standards
- Partner with cybersecurity to embed security-by-design principles across the technology landscape
What you will bring:
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, integration, or technology leadership roles
- 5+ years in a senior leadership position managing technical teams
- Deep hands-on expertise with Boomi — integration design, API management, EDI, and event-driven architecture
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft D365, and JD Edwards (JDE) in an enterprise setting
- Proven experience designing integrations across ERP, CRM, and supply chain platforms
- Strong grasp of integration patterns (REST, SOAP, EDI, event-driven, pub/sub)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred given D365 ecosystem)
- Excellent communication and executive presence — ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's preferred
What Success Looks Like in Year One
- Integration platform is stable, monitored, and well-documented
- Architecture standards and governance framework are in place
- Key integration pain points across JDE, Salesforce, and D365 are identified and on the roadmap
- Team is structured, empowered, and executing against a clear architecture vision

Compensation Range: $260,000 - $290,000 plus 20% scale bonus opportunity
Compensation is based on individual factors, including skill set, relevant experience, and work location
