Role Overview
Full-time remote role open to California residents with proven escrow experience and established real estate industry networks. You will manage escrow accounts, facilitate residential and commercial closings, provide notary services, and deliver exceptional, transparent customer service. As a team member, you will also serve as an advisor to leadership, providing strategic input on operational best practices, compliance, client experience, and scaling initiatives as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities
The role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Manage escrow accounts for accurate, timely closings
- Prepare escrow instructions, settlement statements, and documents
- Review title reports and resolve issues with in-house counsel/title companies
- Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, agents, and other parties
- Receive/disburse funds; prorate taxes/insurance/fees
- Perform notary services and witness signings
- Ensure compliance with federal/state/local laws (including CA escrow regulations)
- Provide top-tier, personalized customer service
- Build/maintain client relationships, leveraging networks for success
- Handle residential/commercial transactions with precision
- Serve as an advisor to the President and future team members on escrow operations, compliance standards, client service excellence, and business scaling strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven escrow/closings experience and real estate transaction track record
- Established book of clients or industry relationships highly valued for growth
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Knowledge of your local county residential/commercial transactions
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills (honesty/integrity focus)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Title/escrow industry experience a plus
- Preference for California Escrow Association designations (e.g., Certified Escrow Officer)
